Categoria „Cel mai bun film” are un mare favorit în acest an la Premiile Oscar 2023. Aproape 10.000 de profesionişti din cinematografie și-au exprimat votul pentru categoria ”Cel mai bun film” și deja se știe cine va câștiga premiul Oscar în anul 2023.

Este vorba despre „Everything Everywhere All at Once”, scris, produs și regizat de cuplul regizoral Daniel Kwan și Daniel Scheinert – The Daniels.

Această peliculă are o cotă foarte mică la casele de pariuri, de 1.08, dar șansele de a obține Osacrul sunt uriașe.

Într-o recenzie realizată de New York Times, pelicula a fost catalogată drept o producție haotică și glorioasă. Aceasta a primit deja o serie de premii hollywoodiene, acordate de Sindicatul regizorilor, scenariștilor, producătorilor și actorilor.

Filmul care are deja 11 nominalizări la Premiile Oscar 2023, transpune povestea lui Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh), o imigrantă chineză din Statele Unite, care conduce o spălătorie împreună cu soțul ei Waymond (Ke Huy Quan).

Femeia va duce o luptă neobișnuită pentru a-și găsi împlinirea în viață. Aceasta este prezentată într-un mod cu totul special: amestec între imagini fantastice, arte marțiale, umor, dramă de familie și comentarii ironice despre era informațiilor. Evelyn pornește într-o aventură nebună, explorând alte universuri și conectându-se cu viețile pe care le-ar fi putut duce, se menționează pe voyo, platforma pe care poate fi urmărit.
